Veg fried rice in 30 min! Easy, healthy and delicious 👍 This tastes like your favorite street-style vegetable fried rice or restaurant-style vegetable fried rice! You won't believe how quickly you can make it at home :)


Ingredients

Servings: 4


3 tbsp. Spring onion whites

2 tbsp. Spring onion greens (finely chopped)

1 tbsp. Garlic (crushed)

1 tbsp. Ginger (crushed)

1/4 cup Carrots (chopped)

1/4 cup Green beans (chopped)

1/2 cup Cabbage (chopped)

1/2 cup Bell pepper or capsicum (chopped)

1 tsp. Black pepper (powdered)

4 cups rice (pre-cooked)

Cooking Oil

Salt...to taste


Sauce mix

1.5 tbsp. Soy Sauce (low sodium)

1 tbsp. Red chillli sauce

1 tbsp. Green chilli sauce

2 tbsp. White vinegar


Method
  • Combine all the ingredients of the sauce mix and set it aside

  • Set a wide pan or wok on high heat and add 2-3 tbsp. of cooking oil

  • Add spring onion whites, garlic and ginger and stir fry for 30 sec

  • Add carrots and french beans and stir fry for 1 minute

  • Add bell peppers and stir fry for 30 sec

  • Add cabbage and stir fry for 15 sec

  • Add 4 cups of pre-cooked rice

  • Mix well and stir fry for 5-6 minutes to get a smoky flavor

  • Turn off the heat and garnish with spring onion greens
